The changing mat cover is made from a non-toxic fabric which is waterproof and wipeable making every nappy change fuss free and quick to clean.
The changing mat is one of the most used baby essentials. Used every day for nappy changes, drying baby after bath time or even for baby massage. Designed with three slightly raised sides for babies comfort. This style of changing mat is filled with an extra thick layer of foam in the center for additional support which also makes it perfect for tummy time.
This changing mat fits most baby changing tables but is also easy to store under the sofa for quick and easy nappy changes!

Clean using warm soapy water - do not use cleaning chemicals, as they will harm and weaken the fabric. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

Perfect, we love it!
My changing mat has split, exposing the inner. It was only used for 3 months and has been kept in a cool nursery, wiped only with baby wipes and of course not a sharp object in site!
I raised this defect issue with Mama Shack 6 weeks ago. After being questioned about how I store and clean my mat (are there really that many options for a baby changing mat?!), they agreed to send me a new one. However I have been waiting for nearly 5 weeks for my replacement and still nothing, despite sending several emails to the company and their replies telling me it is still with the manufacturer and they will chase.
It’s such a shame, the products are really beautiful but this level of customer service puts me off buying from them in the future.
I just wonder if I will ever receive my replacement mat…..

Hope you are well! I was really upset to read your review this morning, I can see you’ve ordered with us before and I hope you have always enjoyed shopping with us and this instance was a one off.
I’ve done some digging today to see what has happened. I’ll respond by point -
- We always ask the customer the questions that you have mentioned below as that is what the manufacture will always ask if we raise a complaint. Asking everything up front saves us from going back and forth, with a view to saving time for the customer.
- The changing mat you had sadly did show a manufacturing fault where the edges were not sealed correctly.
- We thought the best option in this case was to have the manufacture make it for you as we were moving warehouses and the item was out of stock at this time. We always ship replacements as soon as possible.
- We were told the replacement would be sent 11th October (this was confirmed by email and a partial refund was issued to you for the trouble)
- I've popped you an email with tracking details for the replacement.
I apologise again for the slow service you have received on this occasion unfortunately this seems to be a culmination of us moving and not being able to ship a replacement directly, the factory being delayed and the courier not shipping smoothly.
We have since moved so rest assured any future orders will move smoothly as the previous two orders. Please do not hesitate in contacting me directly if I can be of anymore help for this order or anything in the future.
