How to Create a Sage Green Nursery Theme

To help you create the perfect Sage Green nursery theme, we’ve created a mood board to help you get inspired! Sage Green is a colour trend that our team at Mama Shack are obsessed with! It's also a nursery trend that our customers absolutely love this season for Autumn Winter 2022.

Sage Green Nursery Trend

We foresee this colour trend staying with us and evolving for Spring 2023 for more pastel shades of Sage Greens. This interior nursery trend is perfect for creating a calming nursery, not only are the various shades of sage gorgeous but it is a great unisex colour if you don't know what you're expecting. If you do know what sex the baby is, then it's also the perfect colourway if you're looking for a colour or nursery theme that is not too babyish and will blend in seamlessly with the rest of your home interior.

How to Style Your Nursery

We've created this mood board using accents of sage green. Typically when we think of sage green we think of nature, with this in mind the other elements of this mood board focus on natural textures and wild life. We've selected some scandi inspired, safari accessories because lets face it, we're designing a kids room and kids always love animals!

Natural textures provide a variety of tactile surfaces for your little one to explore both during tummy and with their eyes. Plush textures also provide a feeling of being cosy and warmth! We've used wooden furniture and a variety of textile finishes in our soft furnishings selection.

If space is limited and perhaps siblings have to share a room, why not consider bunk beds? They are a great solution to zoning an area and allows each child to have their own space. They also allow more room for play time!

This look is completed with our Sage Spotty print anti roll changing mat and green Banana Leaf organic muslin cot sheet and swaddle blanket.
