Sharing / Posting Content

Content includes photographs, images, videos (with or without audio), and other material ("Content").

1. Sharing Your Content

Mama Shack ("We" or "Mama Shack") may repost or redisplay any Content you post on Social Media Platforms that use the hashtag #mamashackbaby, #mamashack or tag our social media handle (e.g. @mamashackbaby). If we share your content on our website and social media accounts, our customers will be able to click onto the post and discover the features and benefits of our products. 

By posting Content and using the hashtag #mamashack, #mamashackbaby or tagging us, you confirm that:

  • You own the copyright to the content and are giving Mama Shack and its affiliates a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide, and irrevocable right to use your content, name, and any other associated hashtags related to Mama Shack for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes on our website and/or social media accounts.

  • You are responsible for the content of all images or posts made using our hashtags or tags.

  • Any content posted using #mamashack, #mamashackbaby or tagging us will be visible to anyone with access to our website and social media accounts.

  • Mama Shack has the sole discretion to choose the content it wishes to use and is not obliged to use any content posted under our hashtags or tags.

  • You should not post content that contains personal or confidential information about yourself or anyone else without their explicit consent. Personal information includes, but is not limited to, phone numbers, addresses, or sensitive details.

  • Content should not be posted if it promotes any commercial businesses, organisations, or services outside of Mama Shack's products.

  • Please do not post Content involving minors unless you are the parent or legal guardian, or you have obtained consent from the parent or legal guardian.

  • Please also avoid posting Content that:

    • Contains any form of harassment, intimidation, or targeted attack toward another individual.
    • Violates another person's privacy or shares private information without consent.
    • Displays discriminatory or offensive content based on characteristics such as gender, sexual orientation, marital status, race, ethnicity, religion, age, or disability.
    • Includes content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, threatening, or intentionally misleading.

2. What if I don't want Mama Shack to use my post?

If you don’t want Mama Shack to use your Content, or if you change your mind after we have shared it, please email us at marketing@mamshack.co.uk. We will remove your content from our website or social media accounts within two business days of receiving your email.

3. I posted on social media using #mamashack or #mamashackbaby, but I can't see my post on Mama Shack's website or social media accounts?

Unfortunately, we are not able to feature every post shared with #mamashack or #mamashackbaby. We may choose not to use Content that we find inappropriate, offensive, or not consistent with our current product offerings.

4. If I delete the content from my social media account or change my settings to private, will the content be removed from Mama Shack's site or social media pages?

No, changes to your personal social media settings will not automatically remove content from our platforms. However, if you want it removed, please contact us at marketing@mamshack.co.uk. Content is removed within two business days of receipt of your request.

5. Can I make a complaint?

If you notice any content that does not meet Mama Shack’s standards or you wish to report a post, please email us at marketing@mamshack.co.uk. All reports will be handled confidentially. If you are not the owner of the post you’re reporting, we will consider your feedback but may not remove the post if it complies with our terms.

6. My post has been removed from the website and/or social media platforms.

Mama Shack reserves the right to remove any post at our sole discretion for any reason. If you repeatedly fail to comply with these terms and conditions, we may also remove all of your posts. In the event we receive a complaint regarding your post, we may choose to take it down without the obligation to inform you. Additionally, we reserve the right to decline future posts from you using the #mamashack or #mamashackbaby hashtags if previous posts did not meet our standards.

We kindly ask that you respect others when sharing photos and treat them as you would like to be treated.
