Baby Changing Mats

Our changing mats are manufactured with a resistant PVC, free of BPA and phthalates. They are filled with a nursery grade foam which is free from TCPP and toxic fire retardants such as phosphorous and antimony. We ensure all of our changing mats are British standard tested BS EN 71-3.

Why PVC? We opt for a non toxic PVC as it is still the best material that is fit for purpose, practical and safe for baby. This fabric is wipeable and waterproof ensuring fuss free nappy changes. We follow the developments in this area closely as we are committed to working towards a more sustainable industry.

All Changing Mats - How to Clean

  • We recommend only using warm soapy water or baby wipes to clean your babies changing mat.
  • We do not recommend anti bacterial cleaning fluids or chemicals containing bleach, this can cause discolouration & weaken the fabric which will lead to breaking or cracking of the fabric over time. This includes anti-bacterial hand washes too,
  • Keep out of continuous, direct sunlight. Sunlight will cause the print to fade.
  • Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
  • Do not leave stains to soil such as nappy rash creams. This can cause staining and discolouration.
  • Our changing mats are made from a flexible, durable material however with regular or improper use as with any changing mat they may become subject to wear and tear.
  •  Our changing mat fabric is waterproof however it is not stain resistant.
  • Do not leave stains to soil such as nappy rash creams. This can cause staining and discolouration. Tomato based foods, curries, vegetables such as beetroot and creams with strong colourings may stain the fabric.
